Description of Project:

- Design/Build/Renovate existing 240,000 sq. ft. bus facility
- 7,000 sq. ft. Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling facility addition
- Retrofit existing 240,000 sq. ft. building to accommodate storage and
maintenance of CNG buses
- Retrofit to Class 1/Division 2, Group D code requirements
- Installation of all new fueling and fluids distribution piping systems
- New CNG equipment, piping, controls, dispensing system and de fueling
system
- New fluid management system for CNG buses
- New bus vacuum system for CNG buses
- New methane detection system throughout entire facilities; interlocked
with all life safety and mechanical/electrical systems
- New Emergency Generator System for new CNG equipment and life safety
systems
- Replacement of HVAC equipment with new explosion-proof equipment
- Emergency shutdown capability and interlocking power systems
- Reconfiguration/retrofitting of existing Maintenance Area, Service
Lanes, and Bus Parking Bays
- Extensive new site work, detention basin and fuel delivery area
- Project completed on schedule
