- Complete design and construction of a new bus maintenance and storage
facility
- 266,000 square feet of floor space
- 15 acres of redeveloped land
- New roadways, walks & curbs - complete site development, including
new utilities bored under Patterson Plank Road 30' deep and extending
new utility lines 2800' to North Bergen's sewerage treatment plant,
adjacent to County Road with high traffic volumes
- Dynamic compaction to stabilize the rock and underlying meadow mat
throughout site
- Selective site clearing of trees, shrubs and plant life
- Demolition of the existing truck terminal
- New sanitary and storm water systems
- New domestic and fire water service and fire loop around site
- Structural steel, joists, metal roof decking
- Preformed insulated metal wall panels
- EPDM roof with hip-ridge aluminum/glass skylights
- 15 bus lifts
- Installed Jib crane and overhead monorail for lifting engines and
heavy equipment
- Complete fuel and fluid tanks and piping
- Complete mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems, industrial waste
piping
and industrial fluids piping systems
- Complete compressed air system
- Liquid and petroleum dispensers
- Oil/water separator
- Bus washing/water reclamation systems, vacuuming system, & paint/spray
