- Restored existing 100,000+ sq. ft. school
- Design/Build extensive underground foundation/underpinning
system to reinforce brick and stone masonry
- Most underpinning was 10-15 feet below grade
- All excavated by hand
- Restored all exterior masonry
- Added new entrances and stair towers
- Added new Science wing and Biology/Chemistry laboratories
- Added new kitchen and cafeteria
- Added new elevator shaft and elevator
- Brick and stone masonry disassembled, replaced/repaired
- Restored glazed brick wainscoting
- Restored brick, block and terra cotta
- New structural steel reinforcement from underpinned footings up through
the exterior walls
- Steel connected to the existing timber roof frame
- Repaired existing timber roof framing
- Joined new members to old to stabilize roofing system
- New dormers
- Restored the historic marble entrance hall, lobby and auditorium
- Restored marble/terrazzo/decorative plaster
- Restored plaster relief and plaster murals
- Restored wood floors
- Repaired/reconstructed ornamental plaster
- Restored/reconstructed woodwork
- New rough and finished carpentry
- Restored/replaced wood doors
- Restored stained glass laylight
- Rebuilt stone walls and piers at exterior
